Ethnical Challenges are faced daily for people in the health care field. Ethnical challenges are when a person has to decide, or make a choice, so in other words picking between alternatives that are either considered right, or wrong. Ethnical challenges are very common in the nursing field in the view of Debra Wood, and there are certain ways a professional should deal with them or just take not that the health care field does experience, ethnical challenges.
Debra Wood is a Registered Nurse, and she as a registered nurse believes that there are many ethnical issues, and how a nurse should deal with them. Nurses often deal with dilemmas where they have to make a choice automatically, and they can’t do what they think is best, or what they think is the right thing because they have to do what is best for their patient. This can be a difficult situation for a nurse to be in, it’s very hard for a nurse to see their patient in pain or to see that their patients could possibly be dying. Part of a nurse’s job is to help them feel relief from the pain they’re in, but patients are sometimes in pain while they’re healing. Nurses might often believe that the pain is unnecessary and just hard to watch for nurses themselves. “Challenges primarily had to do with watching patients suffer, which nurses find is unnecessary suffering,”(The Top Ethnical Challenges for nurses.)
