Etsy- A description The recent global trend has been a sudden increase in fondness for handmade and vintage products. In this ‘retro’ world, Etsy, provides one vast platform, a marketplace for vendors and customers from across the globe to buy and sell one-of-a-kind handmade and vintage products. Etsy, being an open-to-all marketplace runs on the concept of affiliations – the ones who get connected and become an indispensable part of the ever-growing network. Prospective Etsy Studio affiliates must be based in the United States. Commission Policy Etsy provides easy solutions to affiliates when it comes to the commissions earned by the affiliates. The commissions earned depend on the qualifying sale of the products based on the links shared by the affiliates on a third-party website (excluding sale return and sale exchange). Qualifying sales are sales made on Etsy by users that arrived on the Etsy site by clicking an approved link on an Affiliate’s site (an “Affiliate Link”) and pay by credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Android Pay, PayPal, iDEAL, or Sofort. Affiliate links, including URLs and banners or other creative assets, can be found on the Affiliates Programme platform. The Affiliates Programme platform uses browser cookies to verify qualifying sales. The cookies are valid for thirty (30) days (the 'Cookie Period'). Commissions are paid on qualifying sales made during the Cookie Period. This means that an Affiliate can receive a commission for a qualifying sale if the sale was made within thirty days of the user clicking the Affiliate Link, as long as the Affiliate was the last
