I chose the assignments that I did because, I think these assignments represent my best work.The things I remembered that helped me become the writer that I am today. Although when I was writing most of my assignments it may seem as if I had a very detailed process, However I can honestly say that there was not a single assignment that I had a process to go by. Mostly when I was completing an assignment I wrote my ideas, feelings, or opinions down. Then I usually did what every student thinks to do I reviewed my work to see if it was anything that needed to be changed. I used this on most assignments. When I worked on my Quickwrites, each day I just wrote down my thoughts based off the topic that was given. In my Annotations, I read the reading thousands of times to see if there was anything else that should help me with my understanding. My grades on essays from the beginning of the year to the end of the year has actually worsened over time. I think I need to put a greater focus on my grammar rather than the syntax when I properly write essays. The essays I chose was the Controversial Essay, Healthier Lunch Essay and the Into The Wild Essay. I chose these essays because these three were essays I actually learn more about in my research; I had fully gained a better understand or the topic in itself. One of my favorite sentences in the Into the Wild Essay is; “ In society it is easy to adapt to the life you are given.” It show my ability to grab an audience’s
