An example of a diversity issue is when there is a not a diverse range of people of different ages. Some employers take on young people for the job because they are newly graduated and are more knowledgeable about tech and computers whereas older people are used to the old fashion way. Or vice versa, employers may have a lot of older people than younger people because they believe they have more experience than young graduates or younger adults. Another example could be gender. A company may employ more males than females and may provide higher wages to men. So there is no diversity in gender. However, the Equality Act 2010 prevents this and it requires work of equal value to an organisation must provide equal pay also it is unlawful to discriminate
