I am writing to express my sincere interest in applying to the M.S. in Leadership and Administration with a concentration in Project Management program at the Woods College of Advancing Studies at Boston College. With great enthusiasm, I present my personal statement, outlining my motivations and aspirations for pursuing this advanced degree at this particular juncture in my professional journey.
For over two decades I worked in the Credit and Collections field which called for an analytical and highly disciplined approach to decision-making and the ability to successfully negotiate the resolution of high-dollar disputes and reasons for the non-payment of balances by significant customers. I believe these skills apply to many disciplines but fit particularly well with human resources and employee relations.
