In 1891, Irish Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) observed, “Disobedience, In the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man’s original virtue. It is through disobedience that progress has been made, through disobedience and through rebellion. Caesar was a king/ ruler who was close friends with members of the council, Brutus and Cassius. Brutus is a council member who is a close friend of Caesar, but he believes that Caesar will not be a good leader. Cassius was an acquaintance of Caesar and he didn't like the fact that Caesar looked like a golden god in the eyes of the romans. Cassius did not want Caesar to become the leader so he manipulated Brutus and conspired a plan to kill Caesar. He supports this claim by first conspiracizing with Cassius. He talks to Cassius about what to do about Caesar being king. Then Brutus listens to Caesars option about killing Caesar so he cannot be the king.
