The Holocaust occurred when Hitler came to power, caused by his power of words; as Death states: “The Fuhrer decided that he would rule the world with words.” (Zusak 445). Hitler manipulated the Germans to think that other people, such as Jews, are not the ideal human race and they need to abolish them. The Germans were oblivious to what Hitler was trying to accomplish because they were blinded by his wise and knowledgeable choice of words.
Topic #3 There are few periods of time in history that are darker or more shocking than the Holocaust which was the mass killing of jews and other groups that hitler did not deem worthy to walk this earth. World war ll was a very tragic war that resulted in 6 million Jews being murdered, The Nazis are to blame. Hitler not only wanted to kill the Jews, but torture them and force them to work in brutal conditions. Hitler's reason for the was to create a “perfect race”. If the Jews were not able to work they would send them to a gas chamber to kill them off quickly. Jews were beaten, whipped, shot, gassed, and burned.
