The Holocaust occurred when Hitler came to power, caused by his power of words; as Death states: “The Fuhrer decided that he would rule the world with words.” (Zusak 445). Hitler manipulated the Germans to think that other people, such as Jews, are not the ideal human race and they need to abolish them. The Germans were oblivious to what Hitler was trying to accomplish because they were blinded by his wise and knowledgeable choice of words.
Topic #3 There are few periods of time in history that are darker or more shocking than the Holocaust which was the mass killing of jews and other groups that hitler did not deem worthy to walk this earth. The Holocaust lasted about 12 years which is an insane amount of time for the mass killing of jews to be happening without anyone putting a stop to it. People would get burned in a crematorium because the Germen's didn’t like the Jews and other people.
World war ll was a very tragic war that resulted in 6 million Jews being murdered, The Nazis are to blame. Hitler not only wanted to kill the Jews, but torture them and force them to work in brutal conditions. Hitler's reason for the was to create a “perfect race”. If the Jews were not able to work they would send them to a gas chamber to kill them off quickly. Jews were beaten, whipped, shot, gassed, and burned.

Hitler turned countless people against the Jews after blaming them to disguise his failure in losing World War I. Hitler was humiliated and out for vengeance, so he invaded Poland to kick off the start of World War II. Many people disagreed and formed plans to assassinate Hitler, but the Nazis' power was too strong. The Holocaust opened many eyes to the corrupted German society.
According to Hitler and the Nazi party, the Jewish community weren’t people and they were just objects. Hitler found the Jewish community unpleasant and a disgrace to the world.
Many Germans blamed their failure in the war because of the Jews. No one to this day exactly knows why Hitler had so much hatred towards the Jews. Jews were hated because of their religious beliefs and practices.
