In order to determine the whether an outsourcing activities would have a positive or negative impact an evaluation of the activity should be undergone. This evaluation examines the required coordination, strategic control, and intellectual property characteristics of the activity (Chase & Jacobs, 2013, p.444). The required coordination aspect examines the difficulty to complete the activity with limited interaction due to geographical locations. Outsourcing an activity that would result in a large amount of back-and-forth exchange would not be wise to proceed (Chase & Jacobs, 2013, p.444).
Week 6 was all about personal innovation plan, opportunities to develop innovation, innovation strength and weakness in the DNP role, and personal philosophy in a leadership/PowerPoint presentation. Innovative leadership in the DNP role cannot be stressed enough given the constant ever changing multifaceted nursing profession. Businesses that are in the private sector are a sole trader so the owner is responsible for all activities that are run within the business and has unlimited liability for debts, however as they are sole traders they are often able to set up a partnership and share skills but that also means sharing profits. Businesses in the public sector are governmental departments, this includes ministerial departments who implement government policices, non ministerial departments who are run by a board and are not linked to any political parties and finally agencies, these are non governmental agencies that provide servies to goverment organisations and receive funding from the government. The final business structure is the third sector and this includes charities and organisations that are non profit, trustees and members are responsible for any debts.
