Every kindergarten in the U.S. should strive to achieve a good balance between work and play. From the start, kindergartens' main goal for young children was to be free and imaginative, "He thought of it literally … and to build confidence." (Source A). Developing young people's imagination and creativity is as important as developing their academic skills. Creative people are often the most successful in societies, and having this free time as a young kid can help them in the professional field as adults.
Even if you’re not involved in their play it offers a sense of reassurance to children. You can also support a play based approach to learning by encouraging children to play with things they may not have played with before e.g playing with the resource yourself alongside the child. If a child sees what you can do with the resource then they are more likely to eventually participate along side you, copying what you are doing. 4.3 Evaluate different materials and equipment to support play based learning opportunities for children in their early years
* Play exercises no pressure on the children to conform to rules, goals, tasks or to take precise directions but instead involves being imaginative, creative, original and innovative. * Play can be solitary or can be with other children, can be initiated by children or adults and is more enjoyable with the use of their personal experiences. * Play is about the children basking in their ideas, feelings, and relationships and having an awareness of what they

This is because the child can learn more when learning through doing and they can develop their language as they are learning through rhymes and finger play. Also, it is important that practitioners can encourage children imagination to flow freely in play. This could be set up different areas in the classroom like role play or construction. These areas will help the child to use their imagination and socialise with other children. It is important that practitioners provide a wide range of materials and activities which will meet the child’s individual’s
In this essay I will be disscussing the importance of letting children play more creatively. I will also talk about why it is important to talk about why they should use their imagination more often while they play. I feel as if it is important to let them play more creatively because it helps them make their own rule to the game, and get their mind flowing with new ideas. It is helpful to the children for it helps them think more and comprehend different ideas from others or their selves. As children get older they tend to stop using imagination becuase they stop being creative as more rules come into play when they get older and shuts their imagination down.
Creative play forms maturity and personal opinions in a child's life. Although organized activities can help children grow into responsible adults, it can set them back from the freedom
I believe that children should do both play creatively and have organized activities. Its important that children have time to be creative and have their imagination expressed. Children should also play in organized activities because, they need to learn that those activities can help with success. Creative play will help children see that they can use anything to make anything that they imagine. I see children creative playing all the time.
Children are able to develop and practise motor skills and bodily movements through physical plays. During some cognitive games, such as board games and educational toys, children can improve their mental fitness and brain function. Play also provides opportunities for children to make friends, to negotiate with others, and to develop their communication skills. It helps extend language and improve children’s social ability. I believed that play is essential to children’s education that cannot be minimized and separated from learning.
It is common knowledge that children are stubborn and do not want to adhere to any agenda but their own. The issue with creative play is that children are only going to do what they are used to doing, and the majority of children do not choose to learn a useful skill they do not find entertaining. Organized activity
Introduction: “Creativity is now seen as a crucial element in education” according to (Duffy, 2006). Creativity is important for mental health from an early age and is a way of demonstrating quality education and care in a setting. Practitioners are encouraged to promote children to be creative and imaginative in their centres in order to foster a love of learning. “Creativity is fundamental to successful learning.
