Cafeteria food isn't the best. It never has been and probably never will be. But if you take away the few items that the students do like, they would be very dissatisfied with this change for a healthier lunch menu. You don't need to have unsatisfied students just to change a lunch menu. I agree that being healthy is important. But changing it to where the students wouldn't even want to eat is a bit much. To me, and I'm sure many other students changing the menu for a healthier one would be a bad idea. We would think, if you take what we like to eat what will we eat? To some students making the change would be a great idea. Some students would love to have a better variety of other food such as salads and fruits. I know I would. Having a salad is good. But for an everyday food a salad to me just wouldn't be right. I like a variety of foods when I eat. I don't like to eat the same thing everyday. In the cafeteria we currently do this. We rarely have something different and there is never a good variety of foods for us to eat. A way to change the menu to make it healthier and make the students happy as well, is to have the healthy foods but also keep the foods and the other items loved by students. Give the students more options. We should have a better variety of foods. You can have the healthy menu but you can also have the other menu. Let it be the students choice on what they want to eat. If we had more options maybe we would be more satisfied with the food in the cafeteria. Don't take something from us completely until you know that the transition will be okay to the students. You never know how students may react to a change like this. Sometimes a change like this just confuses students and they don't know how to
