The number and types of activities for which you tended toward leadership:

According to the self-evaluation I had 12 activities that tended towards leadership. These were activities that included using my passion to help others through motivation and mentoring and creating and developing curriculum. These things were truthful for me as it’s important for me to be proactive and look at the long-term truthfully in order to create the desired success for an organization.

I have a passion for creating something new or taking things to the next step and inspiring others. Currently, as a teacher leader people do not mind following me because I proven to be a trustworthy leader who will take care of their cares and concerns and keep them informed, and I am good at solving problems, because I offer up workable solutions that can be implemented immediately and often times foresee potential problems in certain situations and make the necessary for transitions or accommodations to avoid pitfalls. I absolutely enjoy being a leader because I see it as a way to inspire and encourage others to reach their potential and goals. I revel in being a part or progress and growth of others and an organization. I understand that managing is also a part of being a leader, but there is a special joy that I receive in leading and it’s not about me other than my wanting to be better for the betterment of others. I have always been a person of reflection and self-assessment and I think that is one thing of many that aids in my ability to be a leader that people want to follow. As I matriculate through this doctorate program I will continue to embrace and mature those qualities that make me a good leader and continue on the reflective practice path so that I am able to apply my passions to effect change in educational curriculum and by inspiring
