The Civil War was one of the most important historical events in America. The North won the war, several factors played an important role in the outcome. The industrialized economy was one factor that turn the war in their favor. The North, had supplied the army with arms, munitions and food. The had a surplus of supplies and were economically well than the South. In addition, the advantage of transportation, the wagons, horses and ships. The railroads enable fast transportation for the soldiers and supplies. Even a greater advantage, is when the Navy enabled the North to control the river systems and block the ports, to prevent passage of goods, supplies and weapons to the South. Undoubtedly, the North had a higher population in people
