What we need to change about school
100% of kids in Hrs. Hall’s Class say that we need to make changes to our school. Because of this statement, there should be something done about this.There should be changes to our school and its schedule because a lot of people want it to be done and that they demand it.
What needs to be changed about the structure of the school day? One thing that needs to be changed about the structure of the school day is later arrival time. We have to wake up to early and some kids don’t get enough sleep at nights. They might stay up late to do homework or do sports. We also should have shorter periods at our school. If we had shorter periods, we could get out of school earlier or we could even add extra periods to the day as well. There should also be recess/free time to our school day as well. We don’t get enough time to talk to our friends at school so a free time period would be perfect at school. If we also had a recess, we could get out all of that extra energy we have. People all the time say that there bus is to crowded. There are too many people on one bus. Our school district should add more busses so that we don’t have to be cramped in the seats. Some people have to even sit three to a seat or possibly four. Another thing about busses is that some of the seventh and eighth graders sit in the front while some of the sixth graders sit all the way in the back. There should be rules that the sixth graders sit in the front, the seventh graders sit in the middle or possibly back and the eighth graders in the back. That would make things fair. One last thing about our buses is that they need to be on time. When I get to school, usually half the time my bus is late and everyone is already in class. And on the way home, I get there at 3:30. If we had better scheduling, than I would think most of the kids at Kaneland would be
