How complex family dynamics affect people and fate
Willam Shakespeare’s, Romeo and Juliet is a tragic romance of 2 young lovers that ended their lives. Because of the actions of the families and the hate they had for each other, the actions in play of the feud, family drama and pure hatred lead to the deaths of these young teens. Losing their temper and changing rules all the time pushed them to the edge and the need to protect honor and pride. You will meet these characters that had the biggest impact on the tragedy of this play. Tybalt, The montagues and The capulets. (96 words)

The death of the 2 men in the middle of this play had changed the whole course of the play and the downfall that would happen.

The Montagues are Romeo's parents and even from the beginning it seems a lot like they do not know very much about their son and are not really involved in his life, most of the things they know are though his cousin Benvolilo. “I neither know it nor can I learn of him” Benvoilio starts to question Lord Montague “Have you importuned him by any means?”. Lord Montague responds with “Both myself and many other friends. But he, own affections’ counselor, is to himself - I will not say how true, But to himself so secret and so close, so far from sounding and discovery, as is the bud bit with an envious worm ere he can spread his sweet leaves to the air or dedicate his beauty to the same. Could we but learn from whence his sorrows grow, We would as willingly give cure as know”(1.1.146). At the end of the play Lord Montague goes into the tomb to find his dead son, when he first arrives they question him where his wife is and he explains with “Alas, my liege, my wife is dead tonight grief of my son’s exile hath stopped her breath. What further woe conspires against mine age?”(5.3.218). Although they were good parents they did not know much about his life or ever stand up for his honor or protect him from danger and himself.
