Steve Maraboli once said, “Know your circle. Make sure everybody in your ‘boat’ is rowing and not drilling holes when you’re not looking.” It seems Romeo and Juliet didn't look back to check. Romeo and Juliet is a tragic story about two teenagers who fall in love at first sight, then kill themselves two days later because of the many sabotages in their families. Fate, Tybalt, and Lord Capulet are the most to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet. Fate is to blame because no one could have changed how the letter was delivered or how Romeo heard about the death of Juliet. This is seen when Friar John says the town had “Sealed up the doors, and would not let us forth, so that my speed to Mantua there was stayed”(5.2.11-12). Showing that Friar John had been kept from delivering the letter with news of Friar Lawrence to Romeo. Another example of fate causing the deaths is when Balthasar tells Romeo, “her body sleeps in capel’s monument, and her immortal part with angel’s lives”(5.1.18-19). An example of this is when Lady Capulet says, “I beg for justice, which thou prince, must give. Romeo slew Tybalt; Romeo must not live”(3.1.174-175). This quote shows that the Capulets want justice for what happened to Tybalt, causing Romeo to be banished which leads to the Friar and Juliet making a plan to fake her death. Another example of Tybalt causing the deaths is when Mercutio says, “Ask for me tomorrow and you shall find me a grave man”(3.1.91-92). This quote shows that he would die soon after Tybalt stabbed him, causing Romeo immense grief and causing him to make rash
