Moreover, Andrews (2013) states that for many people in current digital era and especially for the younger generation online platforms are the leading and the most reliable sources for any kind of information. Nevertheless, this trend has both positive and negative sides towards print sports media. First of all, it is unfair to underestimate the influence of online media, since this platform brings the opportunity for both journalists and sports fans to be closer to sportsmen and get the information from them directly.
