It is the best option as I can work with a friend who shares the same passion for dogs and come up with creative ideas together and share the workload. The business will sell jerseys, collars, bows, costumes, necklaces, blankets and beds all designed for dogs. We will also specialise in custom made outfits for special events. The vision of the business is to grow into a franchise and one day spread across South Africa. The mission will be achieved by excellent products and lots of advertising. The goals for the future will be to diversify the range of stock and offer products such as dog food, treats and fur products. Another goal would also be to sell products in pet shops, providing commission for the pet shop business. Weaknesses: It will be a home business, so it might be more difficult to find customers and for them to travel to this area. Opportunities: Advertising can be done at pet shops and vets to create opportunity for more customers. Threats: Pet shops in the area might be a threat as people who don’t know about Dog Designs will go purchase beds, jersect, ect. at the pet shops. Operations
