The purpose of this paper is to analyze and relate Robert Herjavec’s personality to the openness to experience dimension in the five factor model of personality. I will begin by introducing who Robert Herjavec is as a successful entrepreneur, and then I will explore his business career and some of the highlights in his life over the years. The five factor model is also called the big 5 model because the five trait dimensions used in the model are a comprehensive set of personality traits for the normal human adult (Weiner & Greene 2008). The five trait dimensions within the model are the most agreed upon set of traits because of the vast amount of empirical support, and the five traits are considered to be consistent over-time, and consistent across cultures (Bagby & Widiger, 2018).
