This is why total human wellness encompasses four dimensions.”. Having a balance of the four dimensions of wellness is key not only for myself but for my team to succeed. If I don’t display and apply these states of wellness it can and will hinder my relationship with my subordinates, peers, and supervisors. I will demonstrate all four dimensions of wellness every day. Physical health occurs every day and is a standard we as Airmen have to live by. I will take this back to my work center and in all sense of the word uphold the standard. I will lead physically training (PT) session encouraging my Airmen and peers along the way helping them achieve their goal. Though I am not a religious man I will inspire my subordinates, peers, and supervisors through care and feedback. I will find what inspires them and help them find a purpose not only in their career but in life. Finding someone’s self-worth and purpose will help you inspire them and they will trust and follow you through anything. Through social health, I will encourage my Airmen, peers, and leader to get put and interact with each other. How I have done this in the past and I will continue to do is a simple cookout at work. I invite everyone from the lowest ranking Airmen to the commander of the squadron. This forces people to become social and broaden their social capabilities as a whole. Social events tend to increase sense belonging, self-worth, and a sense of security. There is no question this will benefit everyone involved.
