I’m interested in joining the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. I would love to join this organization, because I love what they stand for and what they have done for the world so far. They have done things as opening school in Haiti and Africa, Delta house in Africa, and many other things. One of the reason I want to join this prestigious organization is because they do stuff to better the country that I was born in, and everything that’s helping Haiti becomes a better country is something I have to at least try to be a part of. It will also help me get started with my plan on opening a youth center in Haiti.
Allambie Heights 2100 Summary Allambie Heights is a sought-after suburb in Sydney. The majority of the suburb’s residents are home owners with only a few renters spread throughout the community. Just a short drive away you’ll see the coastline, whilst Sydney’s CBD is about 35 minutes from Allambie Heights. Part of the appeal of Allambie Heights is the proximity to the city and the beaches. The schools, shops, parks, and fitness centres are other amenities that make this suburb so popular.
My interest in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. sparked when I met Sheila Hudson. At the time I had no idea that she was an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. What I saw in Shelia Hudson was a smart, accomplished, proficient women who completely shattered all of my preconceived expectations of what I thought a sorority girl was supposed to be like.
Introduction As the administrator of Mainstay Medical Center, I will create a mission and vision statement for the organization, identify strategic goals and recommend strategies that will be effective in achieving the goals of the organization. In this paper, I will also identify strategies to gain a competitive advantage with other organization while ensuring goals for Mainstays Medical Center to remain successful. Morehouse School of Medicine is an appealing option for pursuing my medical education. When reading Morehouse’s mission statement, improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities grasped my attention. My clinical experiences revolve around communities that are underserved, and sharing the same mission as Morehouse is key to becoming the physician I aspire to be. One of the things that stood out to me about Morehouse is the student run Good Samaritan Health Center. I am very interested about being involved with God Samaritan, because it is akin to the Siloam Family Health Center that I volunteer at, and it is an embodiment of Morehouse’s mission.
Benjamin Franklin is considered one of the key Founding Fathers of the United States as a renowned diplomat that helped build our country’s allyship with France and a civic activist for public institutions. While seen as the original ‘self made man’ of America and the root of the concept know as the ‘American Dream’, others have become critical of Franklin over time. Lubbock Christian University is a private Christian higher education institution. LCU comes from a Church of Christ background and implements their beliefs. The LCU mission statement is “Lubbock Christian University is a Christ-centered, academic community of learners, transforming the hearts, minds, and hands of students for lives of purpose and service.” They have a very strong mission that is lived out daily at the university. As a student at LCU I am able to see day to day procedures and actions.

BACKGROUND Knowing the background of the job of interest not only provides an upper hand but an idea of what type of atmosphere it has been throughout the years. Knowing the history, key individuals, purpose statement and values, and mission statements can sometimes persuade applicants to apply for a job with the institution. Encountering this information has become much easier with the use of the internet and search engines. History “Texas A&M University and Prairie View A&M University were first founded as land-grant colleges in 1876,” years later the A&M system was established in 1948 by the Texas Legislature.
Why is it important for colleges to have a mission statement? It is important for college universities to have mission statements because it indicates what the college academic policy offers students. Mission statements should provide the organization’s purpose and sense of direction while making the university look attractive within the organization to incoming students. A successful mission statement should be able to covey ethos, pathos and logos in some sort of way which will be used in principles of the mission statements. They aim to be the voice of educators, and believe their work is vital in the United States. Their vision is to provide a great public school education for students. During my high school career I was blessed to find the Future Farmers of America, also known as the FFA,. The FFA is an organization that stands over half a million members strong. The FFA has prepared me for my future significantly more than any other group or organization I have been involved in. The mission of this program is, “FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.” I believe it has done just that for me; this organization has made a profound impact on my life.
As he wrote for one of his libraries mottos “To pour forth benefits for the common good is divine.” Franklin also identified and flagged a belief we all know to be true, but not all be willing to accept. Success isn’t made by huge defining events, it may be defined by them, but it is the small advances that we make every single day that ultimately leads us to success. So keep making a small advance every single day, it is what will lead you to your defining moments.
For most people, aspirations and dreams are a part of growing up. For a certain boy in the early 1700’s, his dream was to become a sailor. Even though that specific dream never came true, he diligently worked at everything he came in contact with, whether he liked it or not. That diligence eventually paid off, making him successful at everything he did. This boy was Benjamin Franklin, and his perseverance, hard work, and ingenuity made him one of the most famous Founding Fathers of our country.
