This paper will clearly articulate the pursuit of the Fulton Hogan company, in developing a hypothetical internal change management plan, for addressing a workplace issue, which relates specifically to Australian Government Legislation in 2017.

Federal, state and local governments jointly administer the environmental protection laws in Australia, through bilateral agreements, and with government agencies and industry groups developing voluntary codes of practice, for addressing industry impacts on the environment (Australian Government, 2017 ). The Australian government offers Environmental Management System (EMS) certification, for companies integrating an EMS into their daily business operations, long-term planning and other quality management systems.

The management of Fulton Hogan intends to obtain an EMS accreditation, to ease the approval process of granting environmental licenses and permits, for specific project activities to conduct, and facilitate the business in achieving the environmental objectives and targets. The company expects to integrate an EMS into the business, to eliminate and control foreseeable environmental impacts or risks, and comply with the specified environmental protection requirements.
