The verse reads: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their
Examine how far George and Lennie are loyal to each other throughout 'Of mice and men' In the novella 'Of Mice and Men', by the well-known author, John Steinbeck, the reader is introduced to a varied range of different characters on the ranch; within this realm loyalty between George and Lennie plays a significant role in the lonely itinerant lifestyle. The characters in this short novel act in a world of their own, having no connections to any other type of society; through this Steinbeck can strongly depict the theme of loyalty and friendship in dire situations during this period of time. During the 1930's, at the ranch, a predominant role of intelligent white-males is seen to retain power over lesser groups of people, of which Lennie is portrayed to be this part as he is mentally disabled. Despite this George and Lennie strike up a friendship of loyalty: showing firm and constant support. ' Guys like us got no fambly...they ain't got nobody in the worl' that gives a hoot in hell about 'em' sums up the reason why their loyalty and companionship is so vital and special to each other.
God’s grace has been offered since the beginning of time. Despite Adam and Eve deliberately disobeying God, He still loves them and shows them mercy. It is through God’s love that He will save man. In Genesis chapter 3, verse 15, God is pointing to time in the future when an heir of Adam will ultimately destroy the evil one.
In Genesis 6-9 we read about the flood. The main point of this story is that God cares about the world. God is a loving person and he hates corruption. In Genesis 6:11 it says that God saw the earth as corrupt and full of violence, so he had to change this, by sending the flood. He wanted his world to be new again and to be like it was when he first created it.
1. What is revealed about human nature (from Genesis 1-2)? Although the first two chapters of Genesis mainly discourses the creation of the universe, it also illustrates what is expected of human nature, as God intended. Humanity was blessed by God, as we are his creation, since we were creating in his likeliness.

“ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy ghost.” -Matthew 28:19(KJV) Christianity is a popular form and practice of monotheistic religion. It teaches about the existence of one mighty and sovereign God. Although they believe that there is one God, they also believe that there are two other parts to the picture. They see God as the one and only true living God that works with the “holy spirit” and “the son” (who is Jesus Christ).

This paragraph is where I explain what my picture is and how it explains the picture. My block explains the Bible verse Romans 12:2 because, the verse is technically saying, don’t change to the sinful ways of the world, but let God renew you. Let him come into your life and let him take you down the path He wants you to take. So, God created a caterpillar and on the earth it transforms into a butterfly like in the verse it says,”Do not conform to the pattern of this world.” Then the butterfly flies away to the sun because the sun is a light to earth where the butterfly lives and for us humans while the sun also supplies light for us Jesus is our true light that shines.
By saying “you fool” shall be guilty enough to into the fiery of hell. The Lord tells one to not be mad at one another instead reconcile your differences and to not have enemies, instead solve your problems. He states if someone asks of you, do so and do not tune away when someone needs something. An eye for an eye, and tooth for a tooth means if someone does something wrong, the person should be punished by having the same thing done to them. The Lord tells one not to live by this moto and do not resist an evil person.
We know from several locations in the Bible that the angels were powerful beings, and they were likely larger than humans. After sending a pestilence in which 70,000 Israelites died, God sent one angel to destroy Jerusalem before He stopped it. Also, when Mary and the shepherds saw angels at separate times in Luke 1 and 2, the angels had to comfort them and tell them not to be afraid. If angels are beings that are powerful enough to destroy cities and massive enough to evoke fear in people’s hearts, then it would make sense that their offspring would inherit some of their traits.
Since the beginning of the creative narratives, God’s interactions with man resulted in disobedience to Gods commands. This train in pattern starting with Adam and Eve carried root even after the great flood in Noah’s time. The recurring pattern, as seen in Sodom and Gomorrah and the tower of Babel was that humanity alienated themselves from God and became wicked. In Genesis 11, humanity tries to get close to God without obedience and faith and try to build a tower to reach God in the heavens. However, God intervenes to only scatter the people around the earth and away from Him.
