This is opposed to when the radish seeds were put in a higher concentration of Miracle-Gro, then the number of germinations decreased (Figure 2). The application of Miracle-Gro has proven ineffective in promoting the germination of radish seeds in this experiment. Although Miracle-Gro contains nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which all assist with plant growth, it seems to have the opposite effect when germinating the radish seeds.

In this six week lab we discovered many important things. We found that most of the acidic pH levels quickly killed the duckweed along with most of the alkaline pH level liquids. With the alkaline levels of pH we found that soap and bleach did kill the duckweed fairly fast and killed all of the living organisms within the water and on the duckweed. With the acid levels of pH we discovered that the duckweed and living organisms were also killed quite quickly in the liquids coffee and lemon juice. In the one neutral liquid, sink water; the duckweed was not killed but, the living organisms died.

The hypothesis for this experiment of how will radiation affect seed growth is “ If plant seeds are exposed to microwave radiation then the growing process will increase.” My seeds(zucchini seeds)will be placed in three cells and cell number one will not be microwaved at all. Although cell number two and three will be microwaved.
For all the section in total here were about 5,995 seeds that were not germinated and the question is, why? We can see a pattern that only about 60- 70% of the seeds were actually germinated, so what affects germination. Germination can be affected by temperature, moisture/water, and soil use. If the temperature is extremely high or low then that is not ideal for the fast plants. When it comes to the soil use and fertilizer, due to the absence of the first lab, I am not sure if the previous TA measured a specific amount of fertilizer nor a specific soil for this
