The movie Gnomeo and Juliet did portray Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet accurately with a few minor detail changes. The family feud was the same in both the movie and Shakespeare’s play where the Montagues and Capulets did not get along based on unknown reasons. This was shown in Gnomeo and Juliet in the beginning of the movie where they had a lawnmower race. Tybalt, a Capulet, was racing Gnomeo, a Montague, on lawnmowers and Tybalt cheated and broke Gnomeo’s lawnmower. This scene represented the families rivalry because it showed how the families disliked each other and were willing to do anything to win even if they had to cheat.

Two more theatre’s followed as the taste for theatre’s grew. The Curtain n 1557 and The Rose in 1587. I love the movie of Romeo and Juliet. I watched the Disney version about where Juliet and Romeo are gnomes its set as the same but it’s a little different but is also a really good movie.
Normally humans fall in love, not garden gnomes and zombies. Using film techniques the films, Gnomeo & Juliet and Warm Bodies present their protagonists in the same way. Gnomeo & Juliet puts a fairy tale like spin on the classic Shakespearean tragedy, set to a collection of Elton John’s greatest hits, this animated rendition of Romeo and Juliet is full of vibrant colours and ridiculous puns. The film parodies itself, poking fun at the endless retellings of the same story and Shakespeare’s undeniable love for unhappy endings. Though this revival aims to reinterpret the story, its subtlety leaves much to be desired. Therefore, I have decided to give this film 3.5/5 vials of
The single effect of suspense that Edgar Allan Poe establishes throughout “The Masque of the Red Death” makes the reader question what will happen to the people in the village. The first paragraph of the story explains what the Red Death is and what makes it suspenseful. “There were sharp pains, and sudden dizziness, and then profuse bleeding at the pores, with dissolution” (Poe “Masque”). To add on to this, once someone contracts this disease, they only have 30 more minutes to live. This allows the readers to wonder what the people will do to avoid death.
Gnomeo and Juliet is an accurate portrayal of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet because it uses all of the iconic and essential components while still adding new elements. There are many recognizable examples of Shakespeare’s version in Gnomeo and Juliet. One is the Montague and Capulet family feud. In Gnomeo and Juliet, they are represented by colors more than last names, blues (Montague) and reds (Capulet). In both stories, the family feud is very prevalent throughout the entire story until the end, when it becomes resolved.
In this movie, the Montagues and Capulets are two humans who live side by side as neighbors that share a duplex on Verona Drive in present day Stratford-Upon-Avon. Nevertheless, they live in feuding. Mr. Capulet and Miss Montague do not like each other so naturally. Their backyards are landscaped with so many flowers and filled beautifully with colorfull garden ornaments, and especially gnomes. There the gnomes are, live inthe garden of Mr. Capulet and Miss
As well as making the deaths of the characters less sad the movie Gnomeo and Juliet also changes the vernacular of the characters and adds comedy to make the overall storyline. One of the ways Disney changed the aces ability of the play was by changing old English to new English vernacular. Because they change the vernacular they are able to reach a younger audience; one of the ways Disney uses vernacular is by adding in jokes and slang that a younger ordinance can relate to. In contrast, they lose a there ability to have a deeper meaning because older English can be full of hidden meanings and metaphors. 3 who takes control of the destinies Juliet vs. knoweow another way the two plays contrast can be seen in the ending; Romeo and Juliet end's in two lovers that are separated by their families feuding and their immaturity.

In my U.S. History class, my teacher has an image of The Mona Lisa because there some history behind the picture. For example, who drew The Mona Lisa? Well, it was Leonardo da Vinci. Also, this portrait is one of the most famous portrait during the Renaissance. Back then wealthy people, like kings; nobles; etc., were able to afford the portrait, but now most people can afford it.
Romeo and Juliet is a play written by William Shakespeare, originally published in 1597. It is a tragedy of two star-crossed lovers, who fall in love with each other despite their families hate. The play is taught in many schools and it is often coupled with a movie adaption of the play. There have been many movie adaptations of Romeo and Juliet done and yet there are only a few out of the five I have watched that I would recommend. The top one that I would recommend is the 1968 version, directed by Franco Zeffirelli.
