Academia gives teachers and researches the opportunity to educate young generation who will build the future of our society. I strongly believe in the significance of education in society, and teaching has provided me with valuable experiences during my higher education. These teaching experiences inspire me to teach and advise both graduate and undergraduate and share my knowledge accumulated as Euan Semple well said: “Knowledge has to be shared to have value.” Teaching Philosophy: Through my experience as a teaching assistant, I have established a teaching philosophy seeking two aims. My first aim is to challenge all students with a wide range of backgrounds and a variety of interests. My material in the class is created in the way that engage every student as much as possible. My second aim is centered around critical thinking skills. Critical thinking is an original skill for engineers and researchers. This time had more experienced about how I can share my knowledge in puzzle pieces and logical manner which challenge the processing and integration of their knowledge. More importantly, since I came to the U.S. and started my PhD, I have served as a TA for almost four years in various courses such as Probability and Statistics for Engineers, Statistical Methods Quality Control, Engineering Economy, Manufacturing Processes, and Laboratory for Manufacturing Processes.
