Today, our parents, relatives, and loved ones are here to celebrate us because we made it. We've passed the awkward middle school years. We are ready to face the high school challenges. Today is the day to remember our numerous successes and our failures. We remember our successes to recognize that we did pretty well. Although, it is equally important for us to recognize our failures as well. We remember our failures because we learn from our mistakes and they humble us. Over the coming years, a lot of us will feel the freedom that comes with our growing maturity. With freedom we'll feel invincible and on top of the world. We'll need to fail and be humbled sometimes so that our mistakes bring us back to earth. Along with that, I would like to add that today is a good day to feel nostalgic. Today, I would like to ask you all to take some time with me to reminisce about our years here at Summit Charter Collegiate Academy.

We've become frustrated and wanted to quit, but we're all here because we've been determined to finish this year. I would like to shout about our girls soccer team for winning first place in their league. You did a very nice job, ladies. I would also like to remind everyone about their own wins. They don’t have to be the kind with trophies. I'm talking about the wins that you experience. Remember the good days here, like a field trip or a A+. Although, you shouldn’t forget bad days because with bad days and mistakes comes wisdom and better days. All in all, I think we can agree we all had a good run for the most part. The past two years have been a fun ride but now it's time to get off and get on a better
