Death is the most certain part of our existence and yet we feel uncomfortable talking about it. Who would want to talk about a broad topic that is difficult to grasp? The concept is clear; when one hears the word “death,” they think of the form, once animated by the unseen force called “life,” left to nothing more than just a mass of bones and flesh. But at the same time, several facets of death remain ambiguous. It is full of uncertainties; it comes with the looming fear. But why is death feared? No one knows exactly when man first developed a concept of death. Early humans were not as strong and many as they are now, and they were preys of predators in the prehistoric period. In the same article, Mark said that if one forgot to honor and remember the dead, he would be considered blasphemous; the dead should be reminded of the moments they enjoyed in life, and a person should remind the living of who that person was in life and to continue the remembrance for the dead to live in bliss eternally. Death is not the finality of a person; he may still be kept alive in people’s memory. As long as there is a single person who still remembers you, you are immortal. According to Genesis, God originally intended for humans to live forever when He created Adam and Eve. However, Adam and Eve disobeyed God and so they lost their immortality.
