1.a) The Green Revolution that occurred during 1945-1985 was the diffusion and advancement of technology in agriculture and associated with it were many agricultural practices/technologies such as fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, irrigation, etc. Although many parts of the world were impacted by the Green Revolution, the two main regions were significantly affected were India and Mexico. Both of these countries were not guaranteed food security, but with the help of Norman Borlaug, also known as the "Father of Green Revolution", the fear of famines were lifted off of their shoulders and they suddenly became one of the world's agricultural leaders.
