Not all reports of hazing are bad. For example if someone was in college and wanted to join a Frat (or a sports team), but they had to be initiated first. They join and realise that all the initiation was was having a bucket of ice water dumped on you the first morning. Hazing can come in many forms ranging from mild hazing to violent. The example above would fall under the category of mild hazing. While if the initiation was to break one’s own finger naked in public it would be violent hazing. Hazing can be good or bad, safe or dangerous. There are many reported examples of dangerous hazing that either had potential or did do serious harm.
