I think that Romeo and Juilet have gone through their ups and downs throughout this play but at the end of the day I think that they have a healthy relationship.An example from the play is that when Romeo saw her for the first time he thought she was the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. And really does fall in love with her at first sight.After he sees her for the first time he says “O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright! It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night as a rich jewel in an Ethiop's ear beauty too rich for use, for earth to dear” (1.5. 43-46).This shows that this is going to be the start to a healthy relationship because before he ever even talks to her Romeo is talking very highly of her and is saying he is falling …show more content…

This shows how much love they have for one another and how they want to be together all the time because they are so deeply in love. Romeo says to Friar before he marries them that “Then plainly know, my heart's dear love is set on the fair daughter of rich Capulet. As mine on hers, so hers is set on mine; And all combined save what thou must combine By holy marriage. When and where and how We met, we wooed, and made exchange of vow, I'll tell thee as we pass; but this I pray: That thou consent to marry us today” (2.3. 57-64).This is another example of how they are in a healthy relationship because this is Romeo talking about how he and Juliet want to get married very badly. Romeo also explains that he does not care that his and Juliet's family hate each other; he just wants to be with her.The last example from the play is that Romeo believed that Juilet was really dead so he killed himself due to the fact that he wanted to spend the rest of eternity in heaven with her.
