Through out the book we learn about the trials and errors of Helen Keller trying to essentially getting her life together and going to college. While we go through her life we see the struggles and the hard work she had to do to get a good education. While learning about how “for nearly 18 of her 19 years, she had been both blind and deaf” . Although she definitely had a plethora of issues from her being blind and deaf in non-blind and non-deaf schools, She had constantly strived to get a good education for herself.
