Being a part of a high school means there are many different roles people have. Each role is critical to communities in school being successful at a high school level. The CEO hires all the right people to make sure we will be able to serve our community. The CEO also makes sure everyone has received their proper training as well as getting community partners to help within schools. The supervisor at the sites make sure we are executing our job correctly, and not violating any confidentiality issues. The supervisor will also make sure we are on task and give us new methods to implement if we happen to be stuck for any reason. There are plenty of people we seek for help, to find information for our clients. For example, before creating a plan for a student we need to have a baseline of information to accurately prepare. Attendance, academic grades, and behavior referrals are things we need to find out before we can decide what exactly we are going to create a target goal for. Front desk staff is important considering they have the information we need, so it is critical to build relationships with them to get what we need in a timely manner. Being in a high school means there is more than just the front desk staff, there are also teachers and counselors who specifically refer students. If no students were referred there would not be a client base to work with. Teachers and counselors know our clients the best, they can pinpoint what a student may need since they have them for a good portion of a day. Therefor it is important to have good relationships with the teachers and counselors. After all, we are all here to assist the children, success is not possible if everyone is not on the same
