Consumers should not just stop at utilizing social media. Just like producers, there are numerous ways in which the consumers of mainstream media are influenced by fan culture. One of this is the consumers not holding back from letting the producers know just what is on their minds. They don’t hesitate to tell the producers what they want to see and they take the initiative to reach out and let the producers know what content they want to see in their fandom.
