How Did Genghis Khan Conquer The Mongol Empire

During Genghis Khan’s rule he conquered twice as much land as anyone in history. It is estimated that during Khans rule it is believed that he killed over 40 million people. There are three factors that helped the Mongol Empire and what essentially lead the Khan to conquering most of Eurasia.
The Mongol Empire began when the nomadic tribes in Mongol were joined together by Temujin. After unifying the tribes, Temujin was proclaimed “Genghis Khan”, Khan would go on to have the largest empire the world would ever see. Genghis Khans conquest first began with the help of The Great Jin which would be the first factor. The Jin would pit the Mongols and the Tatars against one another so they could divide and rule them. At first the Jin supported the smaller Mongols who were fighting against the Tatars. With the help from Jin the Mongols were growing stronger quickly and swapped sides. It was too late as the Jins gave Genghis the start they needed to help structure their army and arm them with weapons. Genghis Khan was great at realizing how a happy and trustworthy army would less likely rebel against him. During their times of sacking cities, Khan would reward his warriors by giving them horses, luxurious goods such as silk clothes, nice jewelry, etc. Khan didn’t care if the warriors in his army were from a royal family or even enemy generals from previous battles. Many of his most trust worthy generals were former enemies. Khan would promote his warriors to officers or generals due to skill and experience. With Khan showing no favoritism to promoting warriors in the battlefield and giving his warriors goods for showing bravery and courage on the battlefield, his warriors were trust worthy towards Genghis Khan and would follow him
