How Did Islam Religion Spread

Islam is the second main religion in the world and it has grown at an extremely high rate. It began when the prophet started to spread the word of God. It was the beginning of a new community and life. Previous monotheistic religions helped to shape and develop Islam, it became a faith with a universalizing message and appeal. The expansion of Islam in the Umayyad and Abbasid periods lead to the creation of a community that was simultaneously unified and diverse. Islam began in Arabia and one of the world’s major prophets emerged from this region, Muhammad.
