A man respected by all, even the people who didn't agree with him. It is because the man was very intelligent and knew what he was talking about. Martin Luther King Jr. is famous for his many speeches and his actions toward black equality. King was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He lived 1929-1968. He was assassinated on April 4, 1968.(Wiley 29) Martin Luther King Jr. impacted the world because he gained respect for minorities through his fights for Civil Rights. Martin Luther King Jr. was a great role model. King was one of the most highly respected students at Crozer Theological Seminary. “While at Crozer, King earned the respect of his professors as well as his classmates. He was elected student-body president, was valedictorian of his class, won a prize as outstanding student, and earned a fellowship for graduate study.” (Martin Luther King Jr. Contemporary Black Biography 2) King set a good example by winning all those awards. King became a pastor in his early years which was a highly respected job.
