Islam has traditionally taught that muhammad was kept from sin by allah. Muhammad was accepted as the last prophet. Muhammad status as a prophet made him a model for future generations. Muslims took traditions about Muhammad for guidance in belief and practices in all areas of life Some people believe that muhammad had a bigger impacts on history than Islam. Muhammad's teachings influence every facet of life. Muhammad saw a vision and believed it was a message from God. He was a trader which led to him traveling a lot and came into contacts with Judaism and Christianity. When Muhammad died there was confusion about who was the true heir. Eventually it split into two sects, the Shia and the Sunni. Mecca was the birthplace of Muhammad, Mecca
