In Paris, Pablo Picasso and George Braque change the face of the traditional western art. During the 20th century and to be specific 1907, Picasso and Braque replace the single viewpoint by a new analytical system. They revive the old art from the lost cultures like African art. They created the cubist effect which means viewing the subject from different angles. Most paintings had been still, flat, and lacking in energy before the 20th century.
Cubism is a geometric simplification of images and natural shapes. We can see that through Pablo and Braque arts. Their art went beyond geometry or perspective. Even though the surface of the painting remained flat, but cubist succeed using the representation of natural and fake textures to come
