The Scientific Revolution was a very influential movement in history, leading the way for modern scientific way of thinking. Through experimentation and mathematical proofs, science would evolve into the world we see surrounding the world today. The unique character of new scientific outlook was clear when compared to medieval viewpoint. The medieval view rested on the Christian beliefs; combined with Aristotle and Ptolemy. Italian Renaissance thinkers rediscovered the importance of Plato (c. 429–347 B.C.).Plato taught that one must look beyond appearances to invisible reality of abstract, rational, and best understood mathematically. Renaissance Platonists drew on a Christian viewpoint to further learn the fact about nature’s truth. Leading scientific thinkers of seventeenth century was influenced by Renaissance Neo-Platonism.
