“Cigarette Advertisements; The change Over Time.” Over the last eighty years, tobacco companies have used advertisements to promote their cigarette products to consumers. Although, tobacco products are now being heavily regulated by the American government; tobacco companies still use different kinds of advertisements to bring consumers especially young teenagers to buy their cigarette products. Research have shown that cigarettes can cause addiction and is one of the leading causes of lung cancer among young adults. Furthermore, tobacco companies still try to advertise their product regardless of the health issues it causes. The background of the advertisement shows how someone whether poor or not can also gain joy and contentment and feel like someone who is wealthier because they are using the same product as them.
