Looking at the different theoretical theories there are two that comes to mind while looking at stem cells and the research for stem cells, and how it affects the family. The two theories that can be looked at are symbolic interaction theory, and also family systems theory. These theories both look at how family plays a huge role in the idea of stem cells, and how they family and people view the ideal of stem cells and the research behind it. Cooley and Mead’s symbolic interactions theory looks at the communication, interpretation, and the adjustment between people in the family and in society. Regenerative medicine and stem cells allowed for patient to be able to get a treatment of new stem cells weather it from ageing, sickness, or damage thus, allowing for new stem cells to grow and form in the body. The use of stem cells is changing, and the more research that is being done by doctors is starting to show that stem cells have the abilities to grow into any new cells, thus allowing for these cells to be able to help, and show doctors how a disease affect a cell. When doctors are able to interaction with these cells they are able to find a cure for many different diseases that there is no cure for example include cancer, diabetes, blood disease, and etc. The views that may people have about stem cells is from society, and how society views stem cells and stem cells research. One’s religion has plays role in how many people see and view the ideal of stem cells and the research. Religion makes up how many different families communicate with each other, and religions also affect society. Many religions do not like the idea of stem cells and research because of the idea of getting cells an embryo of an unborn baby. Stem cells are found in the embryo just a couple days after it has formed. When it comes to stem cells and the research and how one feels about it does come in what they were taught to believe in. Religion does play round in how own views society, and what society has to say about an issues. When looking at stem cells and the research, the reason that it stem cells is such a hot topic is because of the use of the embryo cells and may people feel that it wrong to use those stem cells, because of the fact that the taking of the cells stem might hurt a child that is unborn, thus allowing for the child to have problems down the road. Change is a good thing and with change thing happen, now there is two different ways of getting stem cells from adult cells not just from the embryo
