Technology and education has been a part of the world for a long time. New generation technology is evolving every few year or even months. New ways to teach children and teenagers are changes every few years. Most new technology has benefits and most new ways of education have its benefits as well. But all these might have a downfall when it all boils down. Technology has extremely changed over the years. Take a television set as an example; televisions have gone from black and white to color. Phones have gone from hanging on the wall in the house to being mobile. Irons have gone from having to be preheated to being able to be plugged into the wall socket. Education has gone from teaching all the same grade level children in one class to children or teenagers being able to move ahead a grade level or be put into an advanced class with upper classman. An example of that is when a ninth grader in a class with tenth and eleventh graders. Education have went from students being put in classes based on class to being put in classes based on smarts. Schools have went from all the students from K-12 being taught on the same campus to all the students being divided on different campuses. An example of this is Oak Grove’s K-12 division. Kindergarten and First graders are on the same campus. 2nd-5th graders are taught and are on the same campus divided from the K-1st division. 6th-8th are located on the same campus divided from the others, and lastly 9th-12th are on their own campus divided from all the other Oak Grove lower schools. Schools have gone from being able to spank children to just simply suspending them and or sending them to In School Suspension. New ways of education are not always beneficial, but who am I to contradict what the government
