9-11 influence me by all of those good Americans who died from the attack. And it also influenced me because I never got to see the world trade center in real life before it was destroyed. And the world trade center is something that I really wanted to see because of how unique it was. The world trade center is now a part of our history and will be in everybody’s hearts forever.
I think that during W.W.2, When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor that it was a terrorist attack. This event reminds me of 9/11 because It happened out of nowhere. We were also not at war at the time with Iraq. The same events that could relate to each other is They both devastated America, not only that but they both attacked us with planes.
Two years later we entered Iraq. Many soldiers that were deployed over seas returned home with disabilities, or didn 't return home at all. 9/11 was a scary and devastating time for many families. Chaos. Grief. Anger. As a nation we all remember a horrific time in our history that occurred over thirteen years ago. Though I was only five years old at the time, I remember the events of September 11, 2001 as if they happened yesterday.
On this day 4 American planes were hijacked by terrorists. These ¾ planes had hit some pretty important buildings that killed lots of people. The first plane had hit the World Trade Center. The second plane had hit the Twin Towers. The third one hit the Pentagon.
Life is short and precious and you never know when will be your last moment. These people who lived in New York during 9/11 can testify to that. They have suffered tremendously, and maybe one day they will be at peace. They have not only lost many lives during this attack, but have lost loved ones. There are no words to describe how hard it is too loose someone you love, whether it is a child or a parent or a friend.
The 9/11 Memorial Museum sits on 180 Greenwich Street in New York City directly where the twin towers used to sit. It was made commemorate the tragic event that happened on September 11, 2001. This is the first year that this event will be taught in history classes in high schools across the nation since this year’s high school freshman class was not born in 2001. I was about four years old when 9/11 happened and although I don’t remember when it happened it has impacted my life. It has helped me to understand the concept of History besides what is taught in our textbooks.
The 9/11 tragedy was a moment where people had their guard up at all times. This was a time where life had strike to reality of time warfare with every person and country. Couldn’t trust no one that came to the U.S. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave, were brave because the generations before us had to face what had happened and to what is going to happen. Everyone still has agony of pain from the terrible loss of that day, but remember how were we united and saved lives of many wounded ones.
