Wikipedia is a useful part of the research process. At the University of California, Riverside, one of my professor’s showed the class how you can use the website to find sources during your research. At the bottom of the page, Wikipedia includes primary and secondary sources used for the information provided on the page. Wikipedia helps you find primary and secondary sources faster since they are cited while Google gives a large amount of results.
Even though Wikipedia is a useful part for research, it is not a good source to cite. The information on Wikipedia can be modified by anyone.
