In the source “Science, Technology, and the Federal Government” (National Academy Press 1993), there are many ways that science and technology has impacted the United States as well as the world. To begin with, inventors and scientists are the main contribution to being able to have the production of advancements in technology and science. Technology influences the continuation of science expansions/developments of the modern society. Industry is a major example of all of the major impacts into one. Industry influences many parts of the world and this includes the advancements of technology and sciences. Industries first steps to the production of first products are formed by technology which is the major portion but then develops into science …show more content…

Going into more of the technological advances in industries which is the major portion of the business. In the industry of biotechnology, to be able to develop transistors, scientists had to develop semiconductors through technology. After transistors, which is the second stage of technological advances in this field, they had to eventually develop the stage of DNA recombinant techniques which is part of science. Continuing on to the “mature stage” of these industries it requires first to have the technology and the academic scientists during this time. To be able to produce all of these products from biotechnology industries, they need to be able to have increasing knowledge about the materials and measurements which is mostly the technology involved. These usually have a fast pace. This costs less money at this fast pass because they make a bigger profit off of the equipment or experimental findings. To the other side of the industry, they’re not just scientific based. The automotive industries as well as aerodynamic industries, use more of technological innovation so they can continue producing new and improved vehicles or
