Biotechnology is the use of biological processes, organisms, or systems to manufacture products intended to improve the quality of human life ("What is biotechnology? - Definition from WhatIs.com", 2016) some of the most common topics in regards to biotechnology would include stem cell research, genetic reconstruction and genetically altering food stuff. Today in supermarkets, we often find white eggs that have been genetically altered from the original brown ones. For many years I did not consume white eggs because I thought something was wrong with them. Are we evolving to an age where everything can be genetically altered to fit our needs? Will birth of a human eventually phase out? I’m unsure if we will ever encounter a time when mothers can place an order to receive a child with no defects and no long term illnesses. There are many sectors of biotechnology. Some of them can, under scrutiny but others are deemed as beneficial to the future of our country it has been noted animal biotechnology has benefits such as enhanced nutritional content for human consumption, a more abundant, cheaper and very full supply, and a decrease in the number of animals needed for full supply.
