Human trafficking is always a matter of concern for the whole world. Human trafficking happened many centuries ago and now it still exists. Trafficking is a crime. If human trafficking is not wrong then there is nothing being wrong. So, we needing to learn more about human trafficking. Human trafficking is the transportation, supply, transfer and receiving people in: sexual exploitation, forced labour, violence or threat and kidnapping. Woman, men and children are trafficked for sexual exploitation or forced labour. Every year, around the world, there are 800 000 - 1 000 000 people are being trafficked. So, what is the difference between historical and modern slavery? First, in the last century, the distinction was made between blacks and whites. Blacks were heavily discriminated against by whites and were treated as slaves. Traffickers took advantage of that and kidnapped black people and forced them to do hard work. In modern trafficking, so not only black, everybody can trafficked. Trafficking is now illegal but in the last century it was legal.
