Ladies and gentlemen, I am Dr. Anne Howard and I am the Dean of the students here at the University of Michigan. I am so pleased to be with you tonight and to have the chance to introduce our keynote speaker, Akosua Atweaban. She is a notable alumni of this school and has gone on to become Head Nurse at New York-Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell. She has been one of the top nurses at this hospital for several years, and is a true stand out in this field.

He was hungry. No one in the community was starving, had ever been starving, would ever be starving. To say ‘starving’ was to speak a lie.” (Lowry

Hello, Singh. How are you doing? How was your night? I hope you had a restful night and a splendid and safe day. About your message from yesterday, I told you that I read it slowly and paying too much attention in every word you wrote.
Good afternoon, My husband and I went to Red Lobster for my birthday on 4/23/17 and I would like to express some appreciation for one of your servers Mrs. Pat. Mrs. Pat is AMAZING!!!! She gave over the top quality service with a smile. She was knowledgeable about the menu by helping customers who were undecided of what they wanted.
Ladies and gentlemen, Ron, or Ronald Kenneth Junni to give him his Sunday name, but most just knew him as Ron, so that’s what I’ll call him today. Ron was a man with a strong character, and tenacious with it, and quite prepared to fight for the things he wanted in life. He had a few opinions along the way, if we’re honest, but at least you always knew where you stood, what you saw was most definitely that you got with Ron. Ron was a proud family man, and a good husband of almost fifty years, and this father of one, grandfather of four, and great-grandfather to two, had a great sense of humour, and would regularly have them all laughing with his funny stories.
Dr. John Henrik Clarke was an author, historian, educator, poet, civil activist and -autodidact leader. Born John Henry Clark on January 1, 1915, in Unions Springs, Alabama to John Clark, a sharecropper, and Willie Ella Mays Clark, a laundress. Although he was born in Alabama, he grew up in Georgia. “Clarke decided to add an “e” to his family name Clark and changed his middle name to “Henrik” after the Scandinavian rebel playwright Henrik Ibsen” (Markoe, 120). He grew up during an era where Jim Crow was pervasive in which “equal but separate” became the custom and repressive law for African Americans.
I wrote five different speeches to tell you tonight how Phi Theta Kappa has impacted me. There was the funny version, talking about how much fun we all have as the close group of friends we are. The nerdy version, where I had all these stories about carbon and graphene that showed what big chemistry nerd I am. There was a slightly obnoxious version that listed all the scholarships and awards I've gotten thanks to my work at Phi Theta Kappa. There was even a dark version, with story involving dead animals that, somehow, I thought it was a good idea.
Hi Guys, Thank you for celebrating my birthday yesterday. It was very thoughtful and I appreciate your kindness and I LOVE my gift! The above quote reminds me that in life, we must do things that we may not be comfortable with but, it’s a must do when trying to accomplish the goals we set for ourselves . At the end of the day, we are all traveling in the same boat.
Good morning Tara, I wish I was writing under better circumstances but as a fourth year returning gardener to Sam Yanni, I am actually shocked and dismayed by what my Mother and Father reported occurred in the garden yesterday and to be frank what I see going on in the garden this season. I own a plot under Tabetha Wilson and my own address, as does my mother Daphne Wilson under HER OWN address. My Father was my original co-gardener in the back near John Parsons and we moved to the left no-till side with my three years ago. My mother then acquired the other half of our plot but my Father remained our mutual assistant. You may have noticed we spend extensive time and the garden and are quite vigilant when it comes to removing weeds, keeping

PARIS Give me the torch, boy. Go away and keep your distance. Put the torch out, so I won’t be seen. Hide under the trees over there. Make sure to listen so no one is coming through the graveyard.
Good morning Today we say goodbye to the eldest daughter of Ziauddin Yousafzai, Toor Pekai Yousafzai, and the big sister to Khushal Yousafzai, Atal Yousafzai. Those of us who dearly loved Malala and who are deeply saddened by her passing, know that she would not want us to dwell in our sorrows but move on and continue to up hold her message and teachings. She would want us to pass on her beliefs and continue the faith she had in the importance of girl’s education, with all females around the world. You may not know Malala by all of the titles she held; Daughter, Sister, Niece, Friend or Hero.
You've received the invitation and happily replied that you'll be attending. You've already purchased them a gift from their registry list and had it delivered. Maybe you've even participated in some of the pre-wedding festivities -- an engagement party or bridal shower. You've booked a flight for the big weekend, reserved a rental car and a room at a local hotel. It's their big day, and nothing will keep you from being there!
