The Honors College provides a fellow with research opportunities, financial support and many other facilities which helps students learn and give back to the community at large whatever has been incurred. I want to learn from UIC's top scholars and make a difference in my field of study. The resources, professors and the learning environment would guide me in my field of study and would help me in contributing to the community.
Every academic institution has a set of objectives that are lined with a purpose. The purpose is to educate individuals to be well -rounded members of society. These individuals may become leaders or simply productive members of society, however it is their education that gives them the backbone to be either. Involvement of United States in World War II: Technology American military technologies developed during World War II became more advanced and specialized as the war progressed. The technologies produced ranged in complexity from relatively simple items such as small arms and armored vehicles, including tanks, to more complex items such as the atomic bomb. The latter, produced under the secretive Manhattan Project, proved to be an incredibly powerful weapon that revolutionized warfare and was used to end the war.
