What is bladder cancer? Bladder cancer is a type of cancer which takes place in humans’ bladder. The following knowledge is to introduce the cancer. It is a disease which have the potential to spread to other parts of the body.
First of all, there all a lot of risk factors about bladder cancer. However, tobacco use and chemicals are the most common risk. Smokers are four to seven times more likely to develop bladder cancer than non-smokers. And people who exposed to chemical materials such as aromatic amines can increase the risk of get bladder cancer too.
Second of all, there will be some cells, tissues or organs are affected by the cancer. For example, urothelial cells are affected by being separated from the bladder wall muscles. They change and grow out of control, forming a mass called tumor. Also, just like every type of cancers is very contagious, it is same with the bladder cancer. It will separates to anywhere on your body(bladder), out of control, will be extremely dangerous.

So how is bladder cancer treated? At first, there are a lot treatments, and the best way to treat is always called standard of care. The treatments include immunotherapy, which also called biologic therapy, chemotherapy and surgery, can treat the cancer in many ways. Patients are also encouraged to consider clinical trials when developing treatment plans. However, clinical trials are a test to test new therapies. Doctors do not know if they are safe and effective and may be better than standard treatments for now. Second of all, you do have some chance to recover and survive this cancer, it’s up to possible side effects, the patient’s preferences and overall health, and the type, stage, and grade of the cancer. Lastly, there is no sure or complete way to prevent bladder cancer
